Bio

I teach College English including Creative Writing, Survey of Children's Literature, and required courses in literature and composition. My focus in life and work is in creative writing. I advise the student literary magazine, Miambiance, at Miami Dade College, Kendall campus, where I am in contact with future writers. I also run a children's story writing contest for students as well as a few other contests for the magazine. I am interested in children's books of all sorts, from classics to contemporary, and am presently working on a middle-grade novel myself.
